I’m no good at having/naming favorites; there are too many great films! But *among* my favorites, narrowed to Horror & SciFi (which helps), the most-indie is probably Dr. Horrible’s Sing Along Blog. In case that’s not *film* enough, I’ll officially give my wife’s immediate response, another great one:

The Incredible Jessica James (2017). This movie was surprisingly heart-warming and comforting. I am stuck in the same quarter-life crisis as the main character, and to watch her battle through that to find purpose and love gave me a lot of hope.
